Daniel lives on the ocean in New Hampshire, 1/2 hr. North of Boston, with his wife and 2 young children. He works for Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the Bates Linear Accelerator Center as a staff engineer, and is in charge of the beam line instrumentation, e.g.. things like electron beam position monitors.
His audio hobby prompted him to go to university for Electrical Engineering, and set the thesis direction. Over many years, he has noticed that the lower the feedback level the more emotional the sound is. Meanwhile, the more "real" the sound system is the more important music becomes in one's life.
The published thesis is devoted to the analysis of influence of feedback on subjective music perception and amplifier testing taking into account the physiology of hearing.
